Clearview School Division is gearing up for the 2023-2024 academic year by embarking on a comprehensive plan for professional development.
Superintendent Leys has initiated the hiring process for the Director of Inclusive Education and Secretary-Treasurer positions.
Clearview School Division has been engaged in discussions with Careers Next Generation to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of the workforce.
This initiative will provide students with practical experience in their chosen fields, enhancing their career readiness upon graduation.
As graduation ceremonies unfold across the division, Superintendent Leys has actively participated in these celebratory events.
“It’s an exciting time for our students and it’s a privilege to see them celebrate these important milestones in their lives,” says Superintendent Leys. “Clearview is very proud of its graduates and wish them well in all their future endeavours.”
The Clearview School Board has also made important school fees and bus route decisions.
The approved changes in bus routes will directly impact students in Castor, Coronation and Stettler. Students in Kindergarten to Grade 6 who reside over 1.0 kilometres from their schools will be eligible for bus transportation.
Similarly, students in Grades 7 – 12 who live over 2.0 kilometres away will also be entitled to bus services, ensuring their safe and convenient commute to school.
Clearview School Division is working towards implementing a framework model for school fees. The division has developed a school fee structure that will be applied consistently across all schools. The structure will also take into account site-specific considerations.
